Dr. Steven Powell
I am truly blessed to be an orthodontist. Daily, I meet and spend time with people of all ages, from many walks of life, and have the opportunity to hear their stories. It is a pleasure to build connections and friendships through my work and to know that what I do makes a lasting difference in so many lives.
After practicing for 35 years, I still love what I do and share in each patient’s excitement and anticipation as we near the end of treatment. The day we’re done, and that finished smile is revealed, I celebrate with my patient. Together, we’ve accomplished a smile that strengthens their self-esteem and the confidence with which they greet the world.
Here at Powell Orthodontics, we care about people. We want to get to know our patients, and we want to be their provider. I believe in what my son and I can do, the care we can provide, and the importance of sharing this with our community.

I am dedicated to working with patients to get their best results. I view treatment as a team effort between patients, parents, doctors, and our team. I also live in Evans, Georgia, with my wife, our son, and our dog. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring the area, and making the most of everyday moments together. Life is busy, fun, and always a little louder with a young child and a dog in the house—but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
